Bing, Vivaldi, Firefox, Edge & Google Chrome all work perfectly with no issue until I add the Duckduckgo search engine and the issue then exists on all 5 browsers. Personally I switched to Qwant. Try changing default search engine to DuckDuckGo. Already tried that, and went through all the settings. I remember other pages that you could "clean up" in their settings. Doesn't seem to be the case with DuckDuckGo. This isn't mission critical or anything. I just wondered if I had missed something.

Today i altered the default search engine from Bing to Duck Duck Go and closed the browser. On reopening the browser I couldn't get Edge to open in a maximised state unless I clicked the option in top right corner. Actually for Edge, a good old cleanup did the trick and for the other 2 I found out Duck Duck Go privacy essentials that for some reason blocked Fastweb - ADSL, fibra ottica, telefono e TV, guess they have some nasty stuff!

I suggest downloading it again because that message makes me think the file itself is corrupt. Does the file's icon get shown correctly? It is at the bottom of my diagram below. I downloaded it myself as a test and my copy opens a sensible dialog. I didn't want to go any further so I just bailed out at that point. Best of luck, Denis

Research it further with Google or any other search engine. There are many other AI engine's like ChatGPT, Grok, or Duck, Duck Go Chat AI. Ask question here, before committing to the advice of one AI engine. Also, before you start monkeying around with your Windows OS, or Files/Data, Manually, Create a System Restore point.
